Immortality

The Immortality series is inspired by biologically immortal creatures - animals that do not die with age but just keep on going. The waterbear, or tardigrade is a micro-animal that can not only live forever, but can also power down and survive the vacuum of space. Lobsters, if not consumed, also have the ability to age indefinitely. And finally, when the immortal jellyfish feels death coming on, it sheds its tentacles and returns to the baby (polyp) stage of its life cycle.
