Venessa

Venessa is a storytelling game based on the book Invisible Cities, by Italo Calvino. Players draw tiles depicting the fantastical cities from Calvino’s book. Using the words on the tiles, players construct a narrative and map of their story. The name “Venessa” is a pun on Venice, the inspiration for Calvino’s cities.

Venessa comes with a drawstring pouch, 55 illustrated tiles, one copy of Invisible Cities, and directions.

The packaging and tiles are printed by letterpress.
